Day 20. Cricklade, Wilts. Wednesday 14 May 2003. Rest Day

Well after our long tiring trip up north I just spent a lazy day doing nothing but reading. Vicky is at school today, just a normal workday for her.

In the mornings on days like this I would sit out if the sun was shining and if the breeze was cold I would go and sit in the greenhouse until things warmed up. If I sat outside I would sometimes bring up one of the more comfortable outdoor chairs and sit near Ian's upturned boat or if I was too lazy I would sit upon Ian's upturned boat with his outdoor coat underneath me for comfort. May weather could be variable.

In the afternoon Ian with Gillian and Anthony went to explore Lechlade a lovely village further down the Thames with many boats on the water. Pat and I declined to go.
